I find myself continually intrigued by the life that glass art breathes into a space through it’s spectacular brilliance and colorful textures. I can remember as a child sitting, gazing at the stained glass windows in church, pondering the magnificent pieces of artwork and the stories they recounted.
Light! This fundamental part of nature is manipulated and presented to the world today as something far beyond the dreams of those who have shared in the craft throughout history. My vision for this medium involves complex techniques utilizing cut glass, frit, powders, stringers, dichroics, and the combination of these materials. You will find that there is an inner soul present in all my work. The joy of creation lies in working with glass to receive light, to reflect light, to allow light to dance within....
