Terrence  Bond

Photographer

Terry Bond is an avid, self-taught photographer who has turned a once simple hobby into his growing passion. He has developed an extensive gallery of images which reflect his love of the outdoors, nature, wildlife and sports. Terry always has his camera near his side, ready to get the next great shot. Most vacations and free time excursions are planned around taking pictures and are usually spent exploring and hiking through everything from National Parks and obscure mountain trails to local Missouri Wetlands in search of a great photo. His favorite places for capturing these images include Jackson, Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge. He likes to capture wildlife in its environment without disturbing natural behavior, even if that involves wading through the flooded marsh around the Mississippi river and in hometown St. Louis, MO. Terry’s cameras of choice include the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV and the Canon EOS-7D with lenses ranging from EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 up to a Canon EF 600mm f/4 for photographing eagles and bears. He believes in minimal digital manipulation of his images, instead seeking out the best location and patiently waiting for the perfect light and right moment to get the best picture with the camera and not with the computer. Terry Bond is currently a practicing dentist in St. Louis, Missouri. He is married and lives with his wife, Mary Jo. The couple have 2 adult children. Aside from Stone Soup Galleries, his work is also prominently featured in his dental office, and has also been featured in St. Louis area auctions and on

local news outlets.
